Monika is a dedicated social entrepreneurship and research professional with extensive experience in program design, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building, and translational research. She has a proven track record of driving impactful projects in education, skilling, livelihood, and sustainability, bridging field-level interventions with strategic research insights in the projects with GIZ, Crompton, TSG, Nudge, Mann+Hummel. She has published EPW on gender lens on skilling.
She has lead the Translational Research Department, streamlining operations, designing research frameworks, and publishing high-impact reports on skilling, CSR, and grantmaking strategies. Her work has earned recognition from leading institutions, including IIT Madras and major corporate clients like Crompton, TSG, Nudge, Mann+Hummel and GIZ.
She has worked on ground as well where she designed and implemented programs in rural education, sanitation, and livelihood development, benefiting thousands of students and community members. She has also supported the organizations like IIT Kanpur, Samhita, PSR Sustainability, and the US Consulate, gaining experience in entrepreneurship training, fundraising, research, and impact assessment.
Monika holds an M.A. in Social Entrepreneurship from TISS, Mumbai, an M.A. in Public Administration from Lucknow University. She has also participated in international research exchange programs at Monash University, Australia, and piloted social ventures including Innato Agri Products (a Farmer Producer Company) and Badlaav, an education initiative for rural children.
