Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of tennenx.com and the TennenX products, principally CareerCompass. By using them you agree to what follows. If you are using TennenX on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

This version is interim and under legal review. It reflects how the product actually works today and will be revised as that review completes.

Who may use TennenX

You must be 18 or older. CareerCompass is currently invite-only and available at our discretion; access may be limited, changed or withdrawn while the product is in this stage.

Your account

You are responsible for the security of your account and for what happens under it. Give us accurate information: the product’s output is only as good as what it is told, and an inaccurate profile produces guidance that will not serve you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

What CareerCompass is, and is not

CareerCompass produces guidance: an assessment of your skills against a role you choose, and suggestions for closing the difference. That is all it is.

• It is not a guarantee of a job, an interview, a salary, a promotion or an admission. No result it produces is a promise about your future employment.
• It is not professional career, financial, legal, medical or immigration advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for any of those.
• Its assessments are estimates built from a structured skills taxonomy and from what you tell it. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Treat them as a starting point for your own judgement, not a verdict on you.

Decisions about your career are yours. We are not responsible for outcomes that follow from acting on the product’s guidance.

Third-party learning resources

Learning paths link to courses and materials published by others. We do not control that content, do not warrant its quality, currency or availability, and are not responsible for anything you agree to with a third-party provider. Any purchase you make from them is between you and them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit information about someone else without their knowledge and permission.
• Scrape, bulk-extract, resell or redistribute the skills taxonomy, assessments or any other part of the product.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to any part of the service.
• Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing or abusive.
• Misrepresent your identity, or use the product to mislead someone else.

Your content and our content

What you submit remains yours. You give us the permission we need to store and process it in order to run the product for you: nothing more. Everything else, including the skills taxonomy, the assessment logic, the software, the TennenX name and marks, remains ours and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

Availability

The product is offered as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. While CareerCompass is invite-only, you should expect change.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, TennenX is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunity, lost earnings, or loss arising from a decision you took after reading the product’s guidance. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using TennenX and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, or if we must do so for legal or security reasons.

Privacy

How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions about these terms go to support@tennenx.com.
